There is a possibility that hundreds of thousands of people are dead or injured and severely displaced by probably the worst natural disaster in modern history, and this guy is calling countries (namely the US) "Stingy"?

I just thought you might want to know your misquoting Egeland. He criticized "wealthy states" and "donor states" but at no time did he point out the U.S. In fact, when asked to comment on what countries were responsible, he declined.
I really prefer the truth to fabricated rumors, don't you? Please factcheck next time.
Uh... when you call wealthy countries stingy you are implying the US as being part of it. If you had read the links I noted, yes... I did do fact checking with what information I had available on the 28th.
