Why my blog is black?

I use a black background on my blog for a few reasons:

It's color of my heart. (j/k)

A white background is hard to look at for extended periods. Have you ever stared at a light bulb or the sun for extended period? Especially with a CRT monitor?

Easier to read. It actually is easier to read after your eyes adjust.

I am paying hommage to the Apple IIe.

Johnny Cash wore black.
